Material examined: 1 male and 7 females, China, Hainan Province: Bawangling Mountain National Nature Reserve , 19.13°N, 109.10°E, 300m, 7 June 2007, H. Yu leg. ( CBEE) GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis: The male of this species can be distinguished from other Prosoponoides species by the long embolus with wide membrane ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE 4 ) which is gradually reduced distally. The femle of this species can be differed from other Prosoponoides species by the coiled copulatory ducts ( Figs 5 View FIGURE 5 D–E) which are about two and half coils in P. sinense but less than two coils in other Prosoponoides species.

Distribution: China (Fujian; Hainan, new record; Zhejiang), Vietnam (Cao Bang, Sac Tay) ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 ).
