Figs. 2 H View FIGURES 2 , 5 H View FIGURES 5 , 8 G View FIGURES 8 , 33 View FIGURES 33 A–I.
Male: Dark brown with numerous, tiny ochraceous spots. Crown yellow with two black elongate spots near middle on each side of median line, one spot posterior and adjacent to eye and median spot in front of median line anteriorly, dark fuscous between frontal suture and eyes on face, yellow in upper half; median stripe on clypellus ochraceous, rest of face dark brown. Forewing venation dark brown speckled with yellow spots. Male genitalia. Pygofer with long caudodorsal process and long caudoventral process, narrowed apically ( Figs. 33 View FIGURES 33 H–I). Subgenital plate slightly broader basally and apically with small setae on distal ¼ ( Fig. 33 E View FIGURES 33 ). Style short, broad at base, apophysis gradually narrowed with rounded apex ( Fig. 33 F View FIGURES 33 ). Connective about as long as basal width ( Fig. 33 G View FIGURES 33 ). Aedeagus with single long processes with three secondary spines at apex and comb-like; gonopore small, basad of process on dorsal margin ( Figs. 33 View FIGURES 33 A–D).
Measurements. Male 9.4 mm long, 2.4 mm wide across eyes and 2.9 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum.
Material examined. HOLOTYPE ♂, INDIA: Sikkim: 10 Km W Ranipool, 1516 Mt, 09.vi.2005, C.A. Virakta- math ( USAB) . PARATYPE: 1 ♂, INDIA: Sikkim: Gangtok , 1759 m, 10.vi.2005, C.A. Viraktamath ( UASB) .
Etymology. The species name is descriptive for the long, narrow pygofer ventral process.
Remarks. Olidiana lanceolata sp. nov. has male genital structures similar to the Chinese species O. tongmaienesis ( Zhang 1994) but differs in having the caudoventral pygofer process unforked apically as in O. tongmalen- esis. It also resembles O. pectita (Distant) but differs in having a longer caudoventral pygofer process with narrow pointed apex that exceeds the dorsal pygofer margin.
