Material examined. 1 ♀, labeled ‘ CHINA: Yunnan, Dali Bai Aut. , Pref ., 36 km N Dali , ruderal pasture with pines and shrubs, 26°01’20’’N, 100°08’14’’E, 2156 m, litter, sifted under pines and shrubs, 24.viii.2009, leg. M. Schülke [CH09-04] / Horniella sp. 3, ♀, det. Z.-W. Yin, 2014’ (pcMS). GoogleMaps

Measurements. Female ( Fig. 50 View FIGURE 50 C). BL 2.87 mm, HL 0.59 mm, HW 0.52 mm, PL 0.59 mm, PW 0.56 mm, EL 0.73 mm, EW 1.119 mm, AL 0.96 mm, AW 1.16 mm. Each eye composed of about 30 facets.

Distribution. Southwest China: Yunnan ( Map 1 View MAP 1 ).

Remarks. The collection site of this female is close to that of H. schuelkei described above, but the much smaller size indicates a separate species. The female genital complex ( Fig. 52 View FIGURE 52 C) is illustrated for reference to future study.
