Type material. Holotype ♂: CHINA: Hunan Province: Yongzhou City, Dongan County, Damiaokou Town , Shunshan Park (26°24′58.684″N, 111°02′08.473″E, 694 m elev.), 8 Oct. 2015, leg. Chi Jin. GoogleMaps

Paratypes: 2♂ 8♀, same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The species name is derived from the type locality; noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. This new species resembles O. hamatus ( Wang, Zhang & Zhang, 2012) by having a similarly shaped DTA, short sperm duct, embolus and small spermathecae (see Figs 13A–B View FIGURE 13 , 14A–B View FIGURE 14 and fig. 9E–F in Wang et al. 2012), but the male can be distinguished by the wide, dagger-shaped RTA, without a hook at the apex in retrolateral view (vs thin, with a small hook at the tip of the RTA, compare Figs 13B View FIGURE 13 , 14B View FIGURE 14 with figs 8C, 9F in Wang et al. 2012), and the short and thin conductor (vs wide and long conductor, compare Figs 13C View FIGURE 13 , 14C View FIGURE 14 with figs 8B, 9G in Wang et al. 2012). Females can be distinguished by the short and wide median septum (vs narrow, compare Fig. 14E View FIGURE 14 with fig. 8D in Wang et al. 2012) and the two horn-shaped copulatory openings (vs coalescent copulatory openings, compare Fig. 14E–F View FIGURE 14 with fig. 8D–E in Wang et al. 2012).

Description. Male: total length 2.21–2.31 (n=3). Holotype ( Fig. 10C View FIGURE 10 ): total length 2.21, carapace 1.19 long, 1.01 wide (CW); abdomen 1.02 long, 0.75 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.06, ALE 0.09, PME 0.06, PLE 0.08; PME–PME 0.06, AME–ALE 0.01, ALE–ALE 0.16, PME–PME 0.07, PME–PLE 0.05, PLE–PLE 0.26, ALE–PLE 0.04. Eye area 0.37 wide (EAW), cephalic region 0.56 wide (CRW), EAW/CRW 0.66. CRW/CW 0.55. MOA 0.16 long, anterior width 0.14, posterior width 0.16. Clypeal height 0.11 ( CH), CH /AME 1.83. Chelicerae with three promarginal and seven retromarginal teeth. Carapace yellow, with black and irregular grid-like line radiating from fovea. Abdomen gray, with small dorsal scutum anteriorly, two triangular black spots beside scutum, and four black transverse stripes posteriorly ( Fig. 10C View FIGURE 10 ).

Palp as in Figs 13A–D View FIGURE 13 , 14A–D View FIGURE 14 . FA in distal half of femur. RTA small and short, dagger-shaped in retrolateral view, with aciculate tip ( Figs 13B View FIGURE 13 , 14B View FIGURE 14 ). DTA thin and long, curved, tip curved towards prolateral side of cymbium ( Figs 13D View FIGURE 13 , 14D View FIGURE 14 ). Tegulum oval, posterior edge round, with small TA distally ( Fig. 14C View FIGURE 14 ). Sperm duct short, located in distal 1/4 of tegulum. Embolus thin, transverse, with wide base and pointed tip. Conductor short and thin, vertical.

Female: total length 2.40–2.68 (n=8). One paratype ( Fig. 10D View FIGURE 10 ): total length 2.60, carapace 1.28 long, 1.07 wide (CW); abdomen 1.32 long, 0.98 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.07, ALE 0.08, PME 0.04, PLE 0.08; AME – AME 0.04, AME – ALE 0.01, ALE – ALE 0.17, PME – PME 0.07, PME – PLE 0.06, PLE – PLE 0.28, ALE – PLE 0.05. Eye area 0.38 wide (EAW), cephalic region 0. 60 wide (CRW), EAW/CRW 0.63; CRW/CW 0.56. MOA 0.15 long, anterior width 0.15, posterior width 0.16. Clypeal height 0.09 ( CH), CH / AME 1.29 . Other characters as for male, except heavier color and larger body size .

Epigyne as in Figs 13E–F View FIGURE 13 , 14E–F View FIGURE 14 . Median septum wide and short ( Figs 13E View FIGURE 13 , 14E View FIGURE 14 ). Copulatory openings hornshaped, located at anterior of septum, separated by about two times diameter of spermathecae ( Fig. 14E–F View FIGURE 14 ). Copulatory ducts thick, transverse, ends curved upwards, connecting with bursa. Bursa large and transparent, nearly rectangular. Connecting tube thin, nearly straight, extending to posterior of spermathecae in ventral view ( Fig. 14E View FIGURE 14 ). Spermathecae oval, small, separated from each other about two times diameter of spermathecae. Fertilization ducts short, located at anterior of spermathecae.
