Examined specimens. 13♂, 6♀, Al-Riyadh, Rhodet Khorim, National Park, 5.iii.2012, H. Al-Dhafer ( KSMA) .

Distribution. This species was previously recorded for Saudi Arabia by Abu-Zoherah et al. (1993). It was described from Sudan and is further recorded from Afghanistan, Algeria, Canary Islands, Crete, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Italy (Sicily), Kirghizistan, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Portugal, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Yugoslavia; in eastern parts of the Afrotropical region from Ethiopia south to South Africa (inclusive) ( Smith & Vockeroth 1980; Dirickx 1994; Whittington 2003; Sengupta et al. 2016; Speight 2020; Mebarkia et al. 2020). In the Arabian Peninsula this species recorded from UAE ( Smit et al. 2017).

Remarks. Speight (2020) reported that E. nuba flies round and over low-growing vegetation and settles on low-growing plants as does E. corollae but it is faster in flight. E. nuba can be differentiated from E. corollae by the legs which are entirely yellow (in E. corollae femora are black basally), smaller male genitalia and the shape of the black markings on the sterna of the abdomen ( Figs 38–39 View FIGURE 38–39 ; 40–41 View FIGURE 40–41 ).
