Conservation: CITES – Appendix II. IUCN / SSC Action Plan (1992) – No Data: Limited Distribution. IUCN 2003 – Vulnerable.
Discussion: poliocephalus species group. See Flannery (1995 b). Includes at least one undescribed species (K. Helgen, pers. comm.).
