Note.

A replacement name ("nom. nov."), Garcinia guineensis , is created here for Allanblackia parviflora , because the epithet Garcinia parviflora was used previously in Garcinia for a different species. The epithet Garcinia guineensis is chosen to reflect the distribution of this species in the Upper Guinean Forest region of West Africa.
