Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Kuwait Bay (Al-Judailiat, Al-Aushairij, Al-Salam beach, Ras Ajuza,), Al-Messilah beach, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island; frequent (21%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, shells, pebble, rocks, Sargassum spp. and other macroalgae, hydroid-bryozoan associations, sponges, and tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus .
