Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Maghasel, Al-Shumaima), Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Qaruh Island; frequent (21%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; muddy sand, dead corals, rocks with algae, shells, and sponges.
