Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Kuwait Bay (Al-Salam beach, Ras Ajuza), Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; frequent (29%).

Habitat: Intertidal zone; sand, rocks, pebble, seagrass, and sponges.
