Type locality.

Madagascar, Annanarivo (= Antananarivo?).

Material examined.

35 ♂♂, 50 ♀♀: MAK-5A; 3 ♂♂: MAK-5B.

Distribution.

Central and southern Madagascar ( Guignot 1959-1961; Bilardo and Rocchi 2012). Distribution within the island poorly known.

Habitat in study area.

Same as Laccophilus insularum (see above).
