Type Locality: Angola, Galanga.

Vernacular Names: Yellow Serotine.

Synonyms: Neoromicia angolensis Hill 1937 .

Distribution: Angola, Burundi, Malawi; also Cameroon (Van Cakenberghe, pers. comm.).

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Data Deficient as Eptesicus flavescens .
