Host associations in Iran. Brachynema signatum on pistachio trees ( Mohammadpour et al. 2013, 2014, 2015), in rice fields (Lotfalizadeh et al. 2016).

Distribution in Iran. Kerman ( Mohammadpour et al. 2013, 2014, 2015), Guilan (Lotfalizadeh et al. 2016).

General distribution. Palaearctic region.

Remarks. Safavi (1973) artificially reared this species in laboratory on Eurygaster integriceps but did not clarify whether it originated from Iran (Ebrahimi et al. 2014).
