Host associations in Iran. Aelia sp., Eurygaster sp. on Triticum aestivum ( Chodjai 1968, 1989; Davatchi & Chodjai 1969), Eurygaster integricep s, Aelia sp., Dolycoris bacarum and Carpocoris fuscipinus on cereal fields (Radjabi & Amir- Nazari 1989; Modarres Awal 1997), E. integriceps (Iranipour et al. 1998) , Acrosternum spp. and Brachynema spp. on Pistacia vera ( Hashemi Rad et al. 2002) , Brachynema signatum on pistachio trees ( Mohammadpour et al. 2015), in rice fields (Lotfalizadeh et al. 2016), Brachynema germarii , Acrosternum arabicum and A. breviceps on pistachio trees ( Mohammadpour et al. 2016).

Distribution in Iran. Alborz, Tehran, Hamadan, Lorestan, Mazandaran, Markazi ( Chodjai 1968, 1989; Davatchi & Chodjai 1969; Radjabi & Amir-Nazari 1989; Modarres Awal 1997); East Azarbaijan (Iranipour et al. 1998), Kerman ( Hashemi Rad et al. 2002), Qazvin ( Noori et al. 2003), Iran ( Herting 1971; Trjapitzin 1989; Zhang & Huang 2005), Kerman ( Mohammadpour et al. 2015, 2016), Guilan (Lotfalizadeh et al. 2016).

General distribution. Palaearctic region.
