Host associations in Iran. Planococcus ficus on grape ( Fallahzadeh et al. 2009; Fallahzadeh & Japoshvili 2010), Planococcus vovae on cypress tree ( Jalilvand et al. 2014).

Distribution in Iran. Fars ( Fallahzadeh et al. 2009; Fallahzadeh & Japoshvili 2010), Kermanshah ( Jalilvand et al. 2014).

General distribution. Cosmopolitan.
