Host associations in Iran. Coccus hesperidum on Oleander, Morus alba , Ailanthus altissima and Diospyros sp. ( Lotfalizadeh 2010a).
Distribution in Iran. Tehran and Alborz ( Lotfalizadeh 2010a).
Remarks. The report of Metaphycus angustifrons Compere, 1957 from Iran ( Davoodi et al. 2003a, c, 2004d) is a misidentification of M. davoodii (see Lotfalizadeh 2010a).
General distribution. Endemic to Iran.
