Host associations in Iran. Lady beetle larvae ( Japoshvili & Noyes 2005; Jalilvand et al. 2014). Distribution in Iran. Alborz and Khuzestan ( Japoshvili & Noyes 2005), Kermanshsh ( Jalilvand et al. 2014). General distribution. Palaearctic and Oriental regions.
Remarks. According to Noyes (2010) records of Homalotylus eytelweinii are based on a misidentification of H. hemipterinus . It needs to be examined Iranian specimens.
