Vernacular Names: Watts's Pipistrelle.
Distribution: SE Papua New Guinea and Sanari Isl.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: Subgenus Pipistrellus . Included in tenuis by Koopman (1993, 1994), but see Kitchener et al. (1986). Also see Flannery (1995 a, b) and Bonaccorso (1998).
