Material examined. Stn 67, a few stolonal hydrothecae on algae (NIWA 117504).

Ecology and distribution. Eurybathic species found from the low tide level ( Billard 1914) to 779 m ( Peña Cantero 2014a); present material at 272–286 m, epibiotic on algae.

Uncertain distribution (cf. Peña Cantero et al. 2004), probably Pan-Antarctic (Peña Cantero et al. 2013). In Antarctic waters, recently reported from off Deception Island ( Peña Cantero 2008) and Low Island (Peña Cantero 2013), in West Antarctica , and off Queen Mary Coast ( Peña Cantero 2014a), in East Antarctica . In the Ross Sea, already known from McMurdo ( Hickson & Gravely 1907; Totton 1930), off Cape Royds ( Ritchie 1913) and Tethys Bay (Peña Cantero et al. 2013).
