Anahita denticulata ( Simon 1884) comb. nov.

Type material. Holotype female ( MNHN 1878-6634 ), Burma.

Diagnosis. Medium-sized Ctenidae (total length female 13.2). Distinguished from all other Anahita species included in this paper by the uniquely bent internal duct system ( Fig. 12 ). Broad median plate with almost parallel margins (as in A. maolan ; Zhu et al. 1999), but epigynal teeth pointing posteriorly and median septum longer and narrower ( Fig. 11 ) than in A. maolan .

Redescription. Female. PL 5.0, PW 4.1, AW 2.3, OL 8.2, OW 5.5 ( Fig. 20 ). Chelicerae with 3 promarginal and 5 retromarginal teeth as well as 5 denticles in one row.

Note. According to the general bauplan of the female copulatory organs and illustrations of the male and female in F.O. Pickard-Cambridge (1897) and Gravely (1931), this species is similar to Anahita feai comb. nov. and A. jianfengensis , therefore consequently transferred to the genus Anahita .
