Distribution. Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela.
Comments. This was most abundant species. It is notorious the fact that all the nearly 1600 specimens are females and were collected exclusively with Möricke traps (YPTs), occurring throughout the collecting area. Not a single specimen was obtained with Malaise traps, used intensively and simultaneously with the YPTs.
