Three male specimens represent the first record of this species to Nicaragua. It also has been recorded in the USA, Mexico and Costa Rica (Rafael and Menezes 1999). Ten female specimens probably belong here. They have more distinct gray pruinose bands on the posterior margin of their tergites and they are a little bigger than males.
