Subgenus Hansvietsia K. Viets, 1951
Hansvietsia species are characteristic in the combination of: (1) genital field with numerous acetabula (apomorphic, as in Rhynchohansvietsia ); (2) gnathosoma not narrowed and slender, not located on a protrusible membranous tube (plesiomorphic, as in Teratothyasides s. str., Rhynchohansvietsia with a slender, protrusible gnathosoma). Thus, Hansvietsia is in a paraphyletic relationship with Rhynchohansvietsia .
