Distribution and remarks: East Atlantic and Mediterrane- an Sea: Morocco, Mauritania to Congo. Juveniles and adults were observed along the coast, in estuary and delta of Gabon on board of industrial trawlers and artisanal boats (Cardiec, Chartrain and De Bruyne, pers. obs.).
