Malawidopsis spec. M gen. et sp. nov.

Abbreviated description: Cp fusiform, with slightly rounded dorsal margin sloping, especially in the male. Anterior margin in lateral view broadly but asymmetrically rounded, both anterior and posteriors margins ventrally produced, ventral margin nearly straight.

Lateral sides of Cp in dorsal view nearly straight, greatest width situated in the middle. Whole Cp set with irregular tubercules of widely varying size.

Measurements: length of female = 534–546 µm.

Locality: Metangula , Mozambique at 31 m depth (21/3/1999) .
