Material examined: 2♂♂, Malta: Fiddien , 5 May 2002, B. Merz ( NMWC) ; 1♂, 2♀♀, Gozo: Dwejra, 5 Apr 1999. This species appears to have a distribution limited to a few areas in central Europe and the Mediterranean. New record for the Maltese Islands .
