TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Java, Anger coast .

DISTRIBUTION: Malaysia to the Philippines, Timor ( Indonesia), and adjacent small islands.

SYNONYMS: atrox , erigens , javanicus , major .

COMMENTS: Includes erigens ; see Hill (1963b:27). Does not include pomona , gentilis , or macrobullatus ; see Hill et al. (1986).
