TYPE LOCALITY: Brazil, Rio de Janeiro .
DISTRIBUTION: Peru, Bolivia, SE Brazil, French Guiana and Ecuador to Tamaulipas and Sinaloa ( Mexico); Trinidad; Grenada (Lesser Antilles).
SYNONYMS: antricola , apolinari, lasiopyga , peruana .
COMMENTS: Includes apolinari; see Sanborn (1933:26).
