DISTRIBUTION: San Luis Potosi ( Mexico) to Peru, Bolivia, and E Brazil.

SYNONYMS: bicolor , grayi, lanceolatum, minor .

COMMENTS: Long confused with perspicillata or subrufa ; see Pine (1972).
