TYPE LOCALITY: Peru, Huanuco, 3 mi. (5 km) S Tingo Maria, 2,400 ft. (732 m) .

DISTRIBUTION: N Brazil; Colombia to Guianas; Ecuador; Peru; Bolivia.

SYNONYMS: latus , saccharus.

COMMENTS: Includes latus ; see Jones and Carter (1976:23).
