TYPE LOCALITY: Yemen .

DISTRIBUTION: Turkey, Egypt, and Yemen, east to Mongolia and Pakistan.

SYNONYMS: anatolicus , hingstoni , innesi , ognevi , omanensis, taftanimontis (see Corbet, 1978c:57, and DeBlase, 1971).

COMMENTS: Subgenus Eptesicus . Revised by Nader and Kock (1990).
