TYPE LOCALITY: Ethiopia, Belegaz Valley, between Semian and Wogara .

DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopia.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Kerivoula . Very poorly known; may be conspecific with africana which it antedates; see Hayman and Hill (1971:53).
