TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Molucca Isis, Amboina; see Andersen (1912:707) for discussion .
DISTRIBUTION: Sulawesi, Timor, Molucca Isis, and Numfoor Isl (off N coast New Guinea); extreme S New Guinea.
SYNONYMS: melinus, pollasi.
COMMENTS: Does not include vizcaccia ; see Smith and Hood (1983).
