DISTRIBUTION: Sierra Leone to Uganda, south to Angola and Zambia; Bioko.

SYNONYMS: leptodon , wroughtoni .

COMMENTS: Subgenus Myonycteris . Includes leptodon and wroughtoni ; see Hayman and Hill (1971).
