DISTRIBUTION: Reunion and Mauritius Isis (Mascarene Isis).

STATUS: CITES - Appendix II; IUCN - Extinct; probably extinct, see Cheke and Dahl (1981).

SYNONYMS: collaris, ruber , rubidum, rubricollis, torquatus .
