TYPE LOCALITY: Philippines, Mindanao, near Zamboanga .

DISTRIBUTION: Philippines.

SYNONYMS: capito.

COMMENTS: Includes capito; see Lawrence (1939:42). Corbet and Hill (1980:45) listed capito as a distinct species without comment. Almost certainly a subspecies of saccolaimus .
