TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Java .

DISTRIBUTION: India to S China through Malaysia to Borneo and Lesser Sunda Isis; Andaman Isis ( India); perhaps Sri Lanka.

SYNONYMS: andamanensis , hainanus , himalayanus, macrurus, nesites, princeps , superans , tener.

COMMENTS: Includes andamanensis ; see Sinha (1973:612-613).
