TYPE LOCALITY: Italy, Milan .
DISTRIBUTION: Transcaucasia to Israel and S Europe; Turkmenistan; Iran; Algeria; Morocco; Tunisia; various Mediterranean islands; perhaps Egypt.
SYNONYMS: algirus, atlanticus, barbarus, cabrerae, judaicus , meridionalis, nordmanni, toscanus.
COMMENTS: Revised by DeBlase (1972).
