TYPE LOCALITY: South Africa, Natal, Durban .
DISTRIBUTION: Senegal to Somalia, south to Angola, Botswana, and Natal ( South Africa); Madagascar.
SYNONYMS: angolensis , fulva, leucostigma , occidentalis , orientis, osborni , wonderi.
COMMENTS: Subgenus Mops .
