DISTRIBUTION: S Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya.

SYNONYMS: barbatogularis, macmillani , parkeri.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Platymops ; see Freeman (1981:133, 161). Formerly included in Platymops by Harrison and Fleetwood (1960:277-278).
