DISTRIBUTION: Distrito Federal ( Mexico) to S Utah and S Nevada ( USA).

SYNONYMS: mexicanus .

COMMENTS: Formerly included in Plecotus ; see Williams et al. (1970). See Czaplewski (1983, Mammalian Species, 208).
