TYPE LOCALITY: Japan .

DISTRIBUTION: Japan, Kurile Isis ( Russia), S China, republics of the former SE USSR.

SYNONYMS: fimbriatus , hirsutus .

COMMENTS: Subgenus Leuconoe . Includes fimbriatus , probably conspecific with capaccinii , see Wallin (1969:294-296); but see also Corbet (1978c:51).
