TYPE LOCALITY: India, Kashmir, Bhima Devi Caves, 6,000 ft. (1,829 m) .

DISTRIBUTION: Afghanistan, Kashmir ( India).

SYNONYMS: megalopus.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Leuconoe . Included in capaccinii by Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951:148); but considered a distinct species by Hanak and Gaisler (1969).
