TYPE LOCALITY: Paraguay, Neembucu, Sapucay (neotype locality) .

DISTRIBUTION: SE Brazil, Paraguay, NE Argentina.

SYNONYMS: cinnamomeus.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Leuconoe . Does not include levis ; revised by La Vai (1973a), who with Miller and Allen (1928: 199) discussed the type.
