TYPE LOCALITY: China, Fukien, Foochow .

DISTRIBUTION: Fukien, Anhwei, Kiangsu, Shantung, Yunnan ( China); Hong Kong.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Leuconoe . M. pilosus may be the oldest name for this species; see Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951: 150).
