TYPE LOCALITY: Kenya, Mathews Range, Mt. Gargues .

DISTRIBUTION: NW Kenya, perhaps Ethiopia.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Pipistrellus . The Ethiopian specimens in the British Museum are clearly P. kuhlii ; see Hayman and Hill (1971:41).
