COMMENTS: Formerly included Scotoecus ; see J. E. Hill (19746:169-171). For content of this genus; see Koopman (1978a); but see also Kitchener and Caputi (1985), who revised the Australian species. Includes Nycticeinops , but see Hill and Harrison (1987).
