TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Java .

DISTRIBUTION: Java; records from India and Sri Lanka are erroneous, based on misidentified P. affinis , see Hill and Harrison (1987:248).

COMMENTS: Subgenus Falsistrellus .
