TYPE LOCALITY: Pakistan, Gilgit .
DISTRIBUTION: Pakistan, N India, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam.
COMMENTS: Subgenus Murino. Listed as a subspecies of huttoni by Ellerman and MorrisonScott (1951: 186); but see Hill (1963a:49, 50).
