Fonsecia palmella Brennan and Loomis

Barnwell Co., Carolina Bay, 23 July 2000, ex Eumeces latriceps (Schneider) , coll. R.R. Montanuccii.

Larvae of F. palmella are mainly parasitic on birds, but this species also has been taken from rabbits and lizards ( Loomis 1956; Dohany & Cromroy 1976).
